Creating a New Mane

Set up a new Mane quickly and efficiently.

Each Mane is an isolated environment of Content Lion. A Den can have multiple Manes that belong to the same organization, but each Mane will have it’s own configuration, users, content and integrations. Follow the steps below to create a new instance.

Step 1: Select your Mane type

At present, Mane creation is limited to production environments.

Step 2: Select your Savanna

Savannas are the geographical locations / cloud regions where your Mane resides. Currently we support Ashburn, USA and Frankfurt, Germany.

Step 3: Name your Mane

Mane names are limited to 20 characters. For easier management, consider adopting a structured naming convention. We recommend <den name>-<savanna>-<usage type>

e.g. CompanyA-Frankfurt-Production

Step 4: Add a description for your new Mane (optional)

Provides a concise summary of the Mane if needed.

Step 5: Save the Mane Information

Click Save to create the new Mane.
