Connecting a Channel to a Repository
Learn how to link a publishing channel to a repository for content distribution.
To use your repository content on a website or external channel, you need to hook the repository up to a publishing channel. This allows approved assets to be served to:
- Content Lion sites
- Headless front ends
- Mobile apps or kiosks
- Third-party delivery platforms
Steps to Add a Channel to a Repository
Step 1: Navigate to the Repositories page
From the Content Tab, click on the dropdown and select Repositories.
Step 2: Attach the New Channel to a Repository
From the Publishing Channel page, open the dropdown menu and navigate to Repositories. Select and edit the repository you want to publish assets to, and add the channel under the Publishing Channels section. Save your changes.
