Creating a Site Update
Before you can change anything on your site, you’ll need to create a site update. While the base site is active, click Edit to create a new update. Any updates you’ve already created will be listed here. To create another one, click New Update.
Merging Updates and Reviewing Changes
When you’re ready to move your draft to the next stage, click Promote to Base. This will merge your draft update into the base site. Before merging, it’s a good idea to review your changes using the play button icon.
After the merge is complete, click Build Preview to apply your changes to the published version of your site.
Previewing draft changes in Site Builder is different from viewing the Published site, as each option shows different levels of content. If you need to test deeper functionality, it’s best to test using the Published site.
Updating An Online Site With Latest Published Changes
Select the site and click the Rocketship button to publish your changes to the live site.
